TB AFRICA
Tuberculosis has become a global health threat that affects us all, but more especially poor countries, such as Burundi, where the health system is weak and the rate of people contracting HIV or aids is high. This issue is becoming increasingly acute due to the new strains that generate tuberculosis. No effective treatment has been yet found for the XDR-TB (Extensively drug resistant), which results from treatments that have been interrupted and causes certain death.
